The Tides started off as a sensitive acoustic duo whose early gigs got compared to the likes of Turin Brakes and David Gray, by the time they'd expanded into a full band they'd started to have scraps with Mark E Smith of the Fall. The last few months in Manchester have seen them as one of the hottest tickets in town playing with the likes of Puressence, The Chameleon's Mark Burgess and the Inspiral Carpets Tom Hingley. The Hussy's are the new band from The Supernatural's James McColl. If you remember their hits Smile, Day Before Yesteday's Man, I Wasn't Built To Get Up...then you'll love the Hussy's pop hooks. Jaunty, divergent, eccentric and ever so slightly twisted, The Randoms formed in Autumn 2003. They are already firm favourites on the Manchester and Liverpool circuits and in only 12 months have quickly gained a reputation as the band to provide the soundtrack of a debauched weekend that doesn't stop 'til Monday! Video for Two Stripe Trainers was partly filmed at the club made famous by Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights.
