Honours even then 1-1 FT. Who would have thought Scotland drawing at home to the USA would be seen as a highly credible result. Shows how far our standing has fallen in the game that we are ranked 62nd in the FIFA rankings. In comparison the USA have progressed to a very respectable 7th. Encouragingly there are some good young prospects to come through, especially at Hibs with Riordan, Brown, Thomson and Whittaker looking the part along with Maloney, Beattie and McManus at Celtic aswell as Wilson of Dundee Utd and Diamond of Aberdeen. Roll on South Africa 2010. :D

There does look to be a good few youngsters coming through, maybe it's time he gave a few more of them a chance NOW. That game yesterday was hard going, just about the right result though. The England v Argentina game was a lot more exciting.

I haven't been down the shops yet - but I can imagine the En-Ger-Lish press are blowing the result way out of proportion......remember peeps, it was ONLY A FRIENDLY :evil4:

Was yours a competetive match then Shug? well, comeptetive in that it meant anything - not sure any game involving the Scotch can be competetive...

Wasn't the greatest match I've ever seen, to be sure, but a fair result at any rate.
