Any disco fans?

I wonder if there are still real disco fans around?

I don't know if this question is relevant for Americans. But in Europe back in the 80s that's what you heard in clubs.

I'm talking about Boney M, Modern Talking, Amanda Lear, Savage, C. C. Catch, Scotch (fantastic Italian disco), Baccara, Joy, Dschinghis Khan, Village People, Bad Boys Blue, Sandra, Cerrone, Falco, Laserdance, Ricch i Poveri, Kyle Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, Sabrina, Samantha fox, Silent Circle, Ottawan, Mr. Zhivago, Eddy Huntington, Gloria Gaynor, Sylvester, Bee Gees, Gilla, Arabesque....

I don't think PSB is really disco, more synthpop. They're lyrics aren't as frivilous. Erasure, perhaps, could be disco.

As for 70s disco, I like Sylvester and Donna Summer. For 80s disco, I like a lot of Italian Disco artists (I can't really think of any specific artist name at the moment) and Paul Lekakis. Bananarama had some 80s disco-ish songs out there, too.

I do dance to disco sometimes when I go to a club wich playes that. But still, only when I'm drunk. I bet all the others laugh at me for weeks.

most of the artists mentioned here you can hear in my fav night club called Club70'. So I think I am a disco fan (damn, what a shame), hehehe:p :)

Ha ha I feel the same. After all I was NOT fond of that music back in its heydey but now I'm more tolerant... and besides it's just dance music, what else do you expect... righT?

BTW, C.C. Catch poured vodka into my mouth off the stage one night ;) I didn't have adventures with Dieter Bohlen though... ha.
