I quite like Chablis if it is extremely cold (so cold that it irritates a filling or two), but Tesco don't really stock a good Chablis - you need to go to Threshers for that. However, I am really a Red wine fan - particularly Rioja, but will drink Shiraz at a push - from anywhere, but it usually is Tesco. The only thing I don't do is French. (wine):D

I also like Puligny Montrachet, however at £ 40 + a bottle I only tend to treat myself on special occassions. :)

How about a more reasonably priced Pouilly Fuisse? Special offer in my local Tesco!

Sorry, didn't look exactly - it was on the special offer shelving! As I was on the hunt for something red and fruity, didn't make a mental note! Ring them up - they're very helpful at Tesco........
