I doubt this guitar based band is fieled by homosexuals unlike Erasure and DM, not that there is anything wrong with gay bands. Mid 80s psychedelic about 84-86.

Yes, Blue is great, their debut Emergency Third Rail is brilliant, but my least fave of their catalog is the major-label album on Island.

Others may recognize the name of the main force behind Rain Parade, David Roback, who went on to form Opal and Mazzy Star. Opal's Happy Nightmare Baby is a great album.

The band name reminds me of the song "Don't rain on my parade". I know tons of people have sang it before, but I especially like Bobby Darin's version of it. :love:
