I just set up my portable record player on my desk beside my computer. Now I can listen to music while I surf the net! What an age we're living in! ![]()

Now you just gotta get the two of em talking to each other, and transfer all your vynil to mp3, thuse leaving the vynil to be stored unmolested for future generations who've never seen such an ingenius system.
Anything you need to perform such alchemy, I am your humble servant :)
I think I should just cut out CD's altogether. Don't think I'll bother saving my records for future generations though, they'll probably just think it's dinner ware!
I keep all my music on my HD (or at least i did til I lost a drive recently, I aint replaced and re-filled it yet). My vinyl got wrecked on account of my cheap player and my mates hating new order, CD's are even MORE fragile. All I have now is buckets of tapes, and I'm slowly converting them to mp3, starting with endless tapes of rehearsals and all of my own....I'm terribly vain :) Bit of clever noise reduction can do wonders for an old cassette.
None of my NO boots are worth converting tho cos they're all out there in better quality tese days.
