Downloading System 7

Curently downloading their 1991 album.I have it on an old tape but i wanted it on CD.Habibi and quite a few others on that album i love.Mike, is it worth me checking out their more recent albums?.They released a couple in 2001 and 2004 ,yeah?.Any good?

Don't suppose any of you system 7 heads have the performance at glastonbury (or some festival) which ended with Hillage et al playing over the plasticman version of alphawave? heard it wasted after a gig one night and LOVED it, I love that mix of the wave anyway ( we call it the summoner of cops because the peelers are at the door within it's 20 mins play length), but to hear it with tickytacky copycat stuff and wonderful swirling gliassando guitar (I'm fortunate enough to know a guy who plays gliss very well, mainly cos he's huge hillage fan, tho doesn't care fof sys7), was just heaven.

then again, i was bolloxed at the time, I may have just been hearing things....but the things I'm SURE of was that it was the dance mix of alphawave, and the DJ at the end set it had been a live set from sys7.

I have have seen System 7 50 times now and have recorded all 10 of their Glastonbury sets.
