I believe the term to be a contraction of "weblog". It's an online diary that you want everyone to read. Depending on who you believe, they are either the future of all human interaction, or just a bunch of crap largely written by anal retentives (based on news that various influential bloggers are calling for a tag code system to help them realise when a blogger is being funny....I despair, but will hand out no prizes for guessigthe nationality of said clueless types). Blogs are often linked in a way that enables people to search them (like for instance find a story by a mad irishman who near killed himself going to see NO)

I've often considered starting one, but I'd get far too many death threats.

Thanks fella, i can sleep well at night now. Don't think i'll bother blogging though, i'm only interesting when i'm drunk and i can never remember what i did the day after!

I have one, check out the link at the bottom...then gouge your eyes out when you realize how awful it is :computer2:

I started one on the site here, but couldn't be bothered to update it as often. I believe the last entry was "whoa, this updating a blog is boring!" :p
