Should I stay or should I go?

Christmas Eve will is supposedly my last working day with my current employers. After that I quit the UK and head off to Switzerland. But my Swiss job is only for three months, so after that I'll unemployed.

My current employers want me to go back after my stint in Switzerland, but the job and wages are shit. So do I never return to my current job and remain out of work (but keep my sanity?), go back to the current job after three months and hate it for the rest of my life, or do I become a tax exile in Switzerland?

See how you enjoy living in Switzerland first. You don't have to commit to returning yet do you? Maybe once you're there and you've got settled you can look at extending your visa.

Yeah I'd wait and see. You could really like Switzerland or miss the grey skies of home! If you come back to the UK though you should look for another job, if yours doesn't make you happy. Is it a contract type that you have to make a decision on now?

Having a FULL TIME JOB is a LUXURY sometimes.Money is GREAT but then again FREEDOM is PRICELESS.Having done both CAREER then not worked for 3 YEARS,now been TEMPING for 3 years i can only say i MISS the MONEY!But i have LIVED more these last 6 years.But at the end of the day you will SOON know which is BEST.Good luck with whatever you choose though.My only concern these days is how to make a RELATIONSHIP work.But maybe i am just too MAD for it to ever WORK, being on THE CREST OF A SLUMP.I have had a good run of bad luck for years now.I think i am MOST happy when i am SAD. Easy to nip across various borders. Fabulous railway system. French and German areas of the country have quite a different vibe. The lakes are beautiful, and you can always escape to the mountains...

Switzerland is the most expensive place of all time, is'nt it?I remember as a kid touring Europe with our Dad,staying there for one day before the old fella broke in to a cold sweat about the cost of everything... and we buggered off to Northern Italy, where all the wartime turncoats lived Switzerland is beautiful.Mount Blanc that borders three countries is Magnifique,no question..I'd miss rubbish Redcar and its folk being a homebird myself,but you might love it.Do it on 6 month trial

stay in switzerland. it might cost 5000 francs to buy a soda, but it looks exactly like it does in the pictures. i swear they mow the mountainsides in switzerland. beautiful.
