I'm not one hundred per cent on this, but i'm almost sure they did.

I don't think they played on it. Some of them might have been on for a chat. I was always totally wankered when the word was on, getting hammered before heading out to Bangor's one (now deceased) nightclub

Mr Campbell, you are conveniently forgetting that this chick from Bolton (who incidentally is double hard) will kick that lily white ass of yours when she sees you next. Now i suggest you stop showing off and remember, Bolton birds are barmey, they're off their effing heads.

Marry me Jem :)

( I figure that's got to be easier than the hiding you've got in store for me...and it's not like I'll be hard to spot...start at stage and follow the big wire :) )

Easy to either hang or electrocute you. Hmmm, which will leave less mess...

Well, I'm reasonably well versed in getting fried, so I guess it'll have to be a good old fashioned lynching. It will be very messy though, I'll make it my business to have a gut over-filled with all sorts of excellent noxious materials (speaking of which, can you cook?).

They were on the episode of The Word presented by Roger Mellie in Viz Comic, though they were called 'Third Reich'...

I'm not sure about New Order, but Smashing Pumpkins did appear on the Word in the early '90s. I have footage of them playing an electric version of "Disarm" on there, although no New Order.

Absolutely nothing, unless you count that Billy Corgan toured with New Order about 8 years later.
