Loved the David Lee Roth era, then Sammy Hagar came in...
Never heard the album they did with Gary Cherone (Extreme), but it would be interesting to hear.

Tis fantastic, but you don't like 1984?
Only the first 4 VH albums are worth having. They lost everything that made them great once DLR split. Too bad Eddie & Alex's egos (and their horrible manangement) won't let David come back.
Now-David's shocking wardrobe is another story...

In the sleevenotes to the recent Best Of... there is no picture of DLR, and very little mention of him in the sleevenotes.

And DLR did inspire Justin Hawkins.![]()
my fav VH Album "Fair Warning" diver dowb sucked 1984 was okay but after that it was all crap to me
Just listening to Why Can't This Be Love, which isn't actually bad, in an corporate rock kind of way.
This is actually Mrs Old Blue (don't anyone tell him I'm on here!, I love VH and especially DLR. If anyone has the photo of him in spandex trousers with no arse, please can they post it.
If you know/have met Clive, you may be wondering what we have in common at this moment!!

You should get one from a Depeche Mode fan easily

Hmmmmmm.............................
First album was great, but what a damn soap opera with the leaving and rejoining of DLR and Hagar, and the blame game played by either sides in the ensuing fall-out. Now DLR is gonna try to replace Howard Stern, and Eddie and Valerie are splitsville...![]()
Saw some of the hottest women ever outside their hotel in the parking lot across the way from Portland's Memorial Coliseum, Diver Down tour, went with some metal head buddies. DLR and Micheal were leaning out from a window up above having a good 'ol time, and a security guard is telling everybody to move along, that's not them up there. Riiiiight, why else would you be here if it wasn't them?
