Of all the perfect things that happened on my apollo14 mission....the one that didn't come to pass was that I REALLY wanted to get you fookers going on a chorus of that long departed anthem ;) (mind you "manchester la la la" was pretty fooking surreal, especially for one who does not attend large soccer rules footballing events.

you're wrong obviously but i can't fault your argument.

The greatest moments are when Hooky is in the middle of the stage, legs splayed and playing, with Barney doing his thrashing, arm-flailing dance in circles around him. Usually during BLT or TF. I think they share leadership.

Why?

Because he's wild. That man growls and drrrrrns and I get up to revolt and riot in a crowd. If I'm going into battle against some ungodly sized army, I'd want Hooky there to squire us on with a soundcheck of apocalyptic proportions.

It's harder for me to envision Barney being able to encite that sort of mob-mentality nuttery with what he does best. Love him I might, but Hooky gets my stomping boots on.

my mate has a 4 string version of the Shergold Marathon6 of his...they are heavy horrid lumps. He only plays the thing these days on the songs that REQUIRE it (YSF and BM), and ususally sits down and or looks fuckked as a result.

But, We ought not to be too quick to say he's getting on....NO use about 1000 times the lights the used to, I'm certain that doesn't help. And I didn't even have a bass a band and bernard to worry me, and look what happened to me that night.

I didn't mean he seemed past his prime! Just when he got on the very far side of the stage where the stacks were and there was about a half foot of room he looked a bit perilous.
