I done it, i done it, i done it.

Started the day of with a curly, 70's flick,Barney's Angels hair look, more becuase of lack of time, rather than trying to look like Madonna :)

Got to Portsmouth and had to deliver infront of 40 people, politicians, heads of service, well scared, thought it would only be 10, so well wanted to cry and walk out. Still, as soon as i saw my presentation up on the screen, front page title, with my name, and BA proudly after (Barney's Angels), i soon found the courage from somewhere.

I started the presentation with a joke, fuck knows where it came from-hanging round Steve Campbell for too long:) I steamed through it, and although nervous as fuck pulled off a blinder. On each page of my presentation, in the bottom right hand corner i had the following initials: DM (Digital Mike), SC (Steve Campbell), MJ (Missy Jem), SC (Samantah Chapman)= all the people who have inspired me recently, supported me and made me laugh.

I managed to drop the following NO/JD songs into my presentation also:

When routine bites hard- LWTUA

Every day my confusion grows-BLT

How does it feel- Blue Monday

Same old story- Ceromony.

As silly as all the above seemed yesterdy, Mr Steve Campbell, the above challenge really focused me, and where my nerves were shot to bits, i pulled off a spectacular performance.

You'd have been so proud!

The best bit though............... i even managed to drop Tesco's in the presentation somewhere:laugh:

Good day's work. I done us proud ,and had a few good drinks after, missed my train home:( back to the pub,now safely back in London!

OK I've read it now. madam my heart swells with joy and pride.

You truly are an exceptionally silly bastard, have a flower

:flowerhead:

it's amazing isn;t how inner silliness gives you strength...if you can just force yourself into daft-mode you can get through anything. Let's face it...it's How New Order have coped all these years :D

Did you have the initials done so they looked printers registration marks?

Back when i was actually AT work, we took important calls for which we were highly trained, but because we were also in at night we got all the moronic sales calls and stuff normally handled by the failed hairdressers during the day. on any unrecorded call we would play the word game.... we'd all write down a huge list of words, and then go through them as calls came in, working them. My best effort ever which didn't even register on the poor chmoe on the other end was "good mall rats thank you for calling....."

All the shit I've done in my life and I pull up "tales from the call centre"

They were disguised well, but so that they were visable and i could think of you guys taking the piss out of me while i was stood with all these people thinking..."what the fuck do i know/" As it happens young Steve, i know a little quite a bit:D

Gave me loads of confidence and was quite proud i dropped the NO/JD lyrics into it. Tesco's was a blinder though, only thought of it at the last min.

Stow that nonsense both of you. Wino, nowt wrong with you love :) Bonzette.....the mere existence of all you guys has been such a shock that I am genuinely giddy with glee.

I'm still as foul as ever, so I doubt i'll be getting jumped come NOOLday.....but i DO enjoy the company of fine ladies, and the bunch I've met here are among the very finest I've ever encountered. Actually the thought of standing with all you lot and you raising a glass to me turns me bright red just sitting here, I suspect were it to reall happen....well does "china syndrome" mean owt to ya? (I suppose since we're in the UK it'd be Australia syndrome). And any hugging and cheek kissing and I'll hide under my cosole and not come out.

A shame really apart from that we'd do OK....i mean can you imagine "turn that crap down" being yelled in our hypothetical household?

And I did agree to sign up as an honourary stoke city fan :) (mainly to help Fradley hang on to his flag bless the poor dear, needs all the help he can get)

However I think you know who my dreamgirl is these days. As long as she keeps talking and I keep laughing I feel i will want for nothing in life :D

Your in love, your in love! How cute. So, we don't even get a hug from the Baney's Angels founder. That is so WRONG!

No, it would be more like 'turn it up!'

And yes, you did agree to sign up as an honourary Stoke fan.

But you're 'in shock and in awe' of another and I accept that.

Anyway, I'm hoping to meet a nice Swiss bloke who will show me his, erm, Alpine horn (no sniggering at the back, PLEASE!)

"In love" is a LITTLE strong :D

"in shock and awe of" would be much closer to the truth.

but ladies, I will try to accept deal with this...the sudden influx of female attention will just be utterly alien to me.

Besides, by NOOLday Jem will have come to her senses and told me to fook off, Maybe I should hold a bachelor auction

"3 odd socks and a dog chewed slipper" "going once, going twice, sold"
