Coogan's Wilson Voice is very very close to Tony's..great film

"Rob" is terrifyingly real. "hooky" starts good then errrrrrrrr Love all the little legend items in it, like the posters being late for the first gig, curtis calling wilson a cunt, that sort of thing

Prob on my own here but i wasn't that impressed with Sean Harris as Ian.Very difficult to find someone near like him ,though

I ordered the dvd and then found out a few days later there was a special edition 2 disc coming out. I feel cheated.

you were, it's one of the few DVD's where all the extras are worth watching.

Is the "Hooky and all in the bar" version on your dvd?

didn't work on my player (will try again)

Such a strange, contextless telling of Ian's death, and yet.....

isn't there something about the sounds of an old or non hollywood movie[1] echoing through an empty house that hits a note of lonelieness in the soul.

Oh...somethin on screen.....WHERE THERE REALLY FANS AT IANS FUNERAL, AND GHOULISH AUDITIONERS??????????

[1]Because most modern Hollywood have the most bizarre and unnatural soundstrack dynamics, it doesn't sound the same..... doze off to "it's a wonderful life" and "last action hero" consecutively, you'll hear what I mean when you're in that blurry almost world :)

No, and as we speak I'm ordering the 2 disc. I can stand 2 copies of the same movie, at least it's a funny movie!

it truly is bollocking hilarious Although I still think "play at Home" or "NO story" is funnier...you just can't convey the insanity, silliness and brilliance of that lot by any means other than pointing a camera at them and letting them get on with it.

LOL....just seen the bit with Steve and Gillian getting turned away, although according to Steve, Gillian, and Gillian's sister posing as Gillian used to get in free and get free drink and it took him 7 years or something to get one free drink.
