It's shite this year, isn't it?!

Nothing I'm that arsed about seeing. How the fcuk that Green Green Grass nonsense has got an Xmas Day Special is beyond me. Lots more references to 'Del and Rodney' without either of them actually being in it!

Only things I'm bothered about seeing are Ideal (best observed British comedy in years) and the Comic Strip, but am not convinced by the majority of the new cast. And you've got to wait till the 27th and 28th for those anyways, I think.

Arse.

No wonder everyone just gives DVDs for pressies these days.

There's rarely anything on the tube that I'd wish to watch, though someone has informed me they'd like me to have a sitdown viewing of It's A Wonderful Life, but I don't think I want to watch anything that heavy.. I'm thinking more along the lines of Wayne's World for the billionth time. :D

I got bored yesterday, seeing that I came back to Philly and there's abslutely nothing to do yet, and watched the Christmas shows on UPN - aka Urban Peoples' Network. That show based on Chris Rock's childhood wasn't bad, but the rest of the stuff was shite. The unfortunate thing is, it was better than most of the stuff on. I'd switch over to a major network like NBC or ABC and it was all reality TV. I just watched Depeche Mode's 101 after, considering there was nothing on and nothing to do.

on TNT they show the film 'a christmas story' for 24 hours straight. last year i watched it about 5 times as i was in managua and, as the city is a shit hole and everything's shut anyway, i stayed in and watched the film about 4 times. this year i'll probably watch DVDs. i ordered the coen brothers collection (the big lebowski, intolerable cruelty, blood simple, and the man who wasn't there--i haven't seen intolerable cruelty yet), the outsiders, shaun of the dead, and the bicycle thief, so i've got plenty of new material to watch. i'm thinking of doing a star wars trilogy marathon, as well.

i could read, but i don't wanna.

I was there but eight pints of lager blurred it somewhat along with the mosh pit. will probably have to watch this yet again to see if it becomes any clearer.!

Looking forward to the Doctor Who special too, I'm not sure how Tennant will do compared to Chris Eccleston though. Rather dissapointed to miss the 'new' Simpsons Christmas episode Sky is promoting since we'll likely be at my house and I just have terrestial! Ah well.

One show I do miss is the Charlie Brown Christmas :blush: Never seems to be on over here.
