Just an idea. I know here's a lot of cat owners and lovers around and kittenwars.com doesn't accept older cats... So how about a NOOL-internal contest about the nicest, sweetest, cutest, fattest, ugliest and whatever cats? I'll start with one of our million rascals:

Sally

My missus begged me for a cat for fookin months, in the end I gave in, but with several conditions :evil4:

One of them was that we called the cat BARNEY.

So here SHE is....

I had a parrot called Barney, think he was a girl as well!

Compromise, it's a good thing :D

This is Hildegard (aka Hillu aka Lulu). She's one and a half years old now. Her mother (Felix - we didn't know she was a she since that day) put her and two siblings on our doorstep last year (one after another in one week). We had to give the siblings away due to our incredible amount of cats.

Here we go with the official mascots of NOOL ;)

BTW, I lost a cat the day I left to see New Order in Chicago, he never came back, don't know what happened, so the youngest one was waiting for me when I came back.

That's my female.. I saw her mother give birth to here, never left since then, she's quite small.. you can see a picture on my shoulder about 2 years ago (webcam sucks) and one of what she looks right now (sort of) her name is Felina, but we never call her that way, but "Minoune" which means "Kitty" if you want :p

She's the sweetest cat I've had all my life, and trust me, I had many of them.. always ready to jump on you when you want, etc...

That that is our new one:

I'd need to update the pictures, he's now bigger than the other cat, he's a male.. his name is Gustave ;)

How can I forget them...

On the last day I slept at Linday's place, the cats were always jumping on the air matresse all night... waking me up each time...

No wonder I was awake before everybody to go to the airport :evil4:

mine are the cutest of all. behold!

tyrone--20 pounds of sweetness; has asthma and snores like a jackhammer. named after christopher guest's character in the princess bride:

and gorrie--adorable, looks like a prairie dog, and terrified of my green sweater. named after the refrigeration pioneer john gorrie, because he likes to climb into refrigerators:

There's one that can't be beaten and that's our Dicky:

She's a total sweetheart and appeared from one day to another. We don't know if she fled or was thrown out somewhere, but she seems to be a house-only cat. She doesn't like to go out (she doesn't fit the cat-door anyway). She is not that fat anymore, but she's still not slim. She's the mascot of my Fantasy Football Team "The Fat Cats"...

Adorable everyone!

I really miss having a cat. They're great fun to have around. I'd love to adopt one but since I move around so much it'd be difficult.

A lot less difficult than giving birth to one yourself though. :D

I dunno, I have nothing against cats, I love them to bits, but I'm a dog chap at heart, it's good to be sure who is master and who is pet...and with a cat that's ambiguous at best.

Here's another "cat posing on back with tucked paws" photo:

And here's kitty hard at work mixing her solo debut... everything she recorded sounded a bit furry to me, but who am I to judge...

this is still all new to me. it seems i even suck at scanning. the image looks fine when i scan it, but when i open it up all i get is black and white. enough for now, back to it later.

Top choice Shug! If I had a cat (which I don't) mine would be named Barney too.

Once again, a big picture for a big (farm) cat...Casey weighs in over 35 pounds these days, and his brother OJ at about 27. Obviously still quick enough to pounce on the mice and voles in the fields.........

sorry nic. i knew that might have been a problem. they chase each other back and forth all night long. now that we ahve a big ass apartment, they have more fun. knoking shit over all the time. lately, they knock ornaments off the tree and play soccer with them. i wake up thinking someone is breaking in but then realize im stepping on glass. what i want to know is WHY IF YOU WERE AWAKE BEFORE THE REST OF US, DID YOU NOT WAKE US UP!!!!!! you and mike could have made your flight on time!!!!

everyone: you all have such adorbale cats!!!!!!! we should have a nool cat get-together. i can just hear all the hissing :)
