Goat's Head Soup and Black and Blue were ace?
OK mid 70s.

Nope, but I am guessing Mick Jagger plays a starring role :D
63-72 they were fuckin good. Rolled Gold an example from this period is shit hot. Get Off Of My Cloud and Have You Seen Your Mother Baby (standing in the shadow) are 2 of me fave Stones songs.

I am not that fond of the very early stuff (pre 68), although Let's Spend the Night Together is very good, and Paint It Black.
MJ does not appear in Camp, by the way, although Stephen Sondheim does.
Even the 90's albums: Voodoo Lounge and Bridges To Babylon are good, solid albums.
Haven't heard the new one, but not expecting too much.
I always thought i didn't like them but been hearing stuff in my friends car and found out it was them (aaaagh). I love that 'Sympathy for the Devil'. Can't stand the big lipped fella though.
Same friend bought 6 tickets for Wembley in August at £100 each. Thing is the other 2 couples don't wanna go. Ha ha. If she's still not sold them i'll tell her to put them on here!

Shouldn't the term very early stuff apply to the pre-'65 Stones?

19th Nervous Breakdown? Mother's Little Helper? Under My Thumb? Ruby Tuesday? She's a Rainbow? The "S" Word?

Well, you're right; MLH, UMT, and SAR are good.
