Tesco are going to be getting a visit from me today. my nice new dvd recorder, purchased there....just sits displaying the word "load"....it's been spinning my "collection" dvd up for so long I think the disc may melt....they can give me a new one of those too. WANKERS temper lost......cos I got up, sore sick and pissed off....and all I wanted to do was watch some New Order and some Babylon5. Too fucking hard for this thing to cope with apparently.
If I leave it all day and it eventually catches fire....(the manual clearly states I am to leave it alone until it stops "loading") do tesco replace everythng it burns?
So far it's caused me to scream, cry, and punch a wall (cos I'm sure tesco wont take it back after I pucnh it's front panel to dust)
Maybe I should phone their electrical support line and spend all day explaining what a dvd recorder is to some rice farmer from Kolcatta's distant suburbs.
my bro was right...... I should have bought a TV input for the linux machine....cos guess what will be playing the DVD's now.
ROFLMAO....... I have a fortune cookie program, which, much like a dog licking his nuts (ie...cos I CAN) I have running as my wallpaper. I just made that last post and was off to find my poor Indian victim's number.....when scrolling up the screen......

hmmmmmm. only thing is.... the longer I wait while refusing to let it eject the disc (I do not WANT the disc...it can keep it til it learns to play it)...the more chance of it melting the disc.
