Brainiac:moron abuse

I been meaning to mention this for a while.... Anyone else watch Brainiac? or at least....anyone else stopped watching it.

If the premise of the show is to show dodgy science, why do they fake everything? Remember the "explosive of the week" thing, with lots of essex girls supposedly demonstrating a different explosive each week.....when of course, every single time....as with virtuall ALL explosions on the show....it's a fucking movie pyro. What is the point of that? The only explosions that are not pyros seem to be the thermite ones....and having had an ex girlfriend who's idea of a good night in was playing with thermite on the hearth, I know they don't NEED to fake those.

And it's not just the fake bangs....so many of their "experiments" are SO flawed it's unbelievable....I don;t think it would bother me except they are presented as being sensibly sientific more often than not.

I think what annoys me most tho is that Mythbusters is better....and i HATE losing to the yanks.

i prefer mythbusters, even if it lacks the norks.

I did watch something cool on drinking vodka and not dying though.. or something like that. I can't remember, I was playing along at home.

True, but if you're gonna make a science show...FFS get some researchers with a general science GCSE.

Could be worse...could be tomorrow's world, presented by someone with such a highly skilled scientific brain, she believes black dots on a monitor can be used as a webcam, and that the statement "an area of the internet the size of ireland" makes sense.

When i finally take over the world, there will be a NEW meidia facism....no longer the nazi-ass cult of "be thing, smile lots, get some plastic surgery"...I'm purging the thicko's off TV....I realise that may leave us all watching repeats of "cosmos", "connections" and "the great egg race" for 30 years until we wait for some fresh children to get a real education again, so they can present TV shows.
