LOL......brilliant. "happy new order"....I think I MAY have said the same thing to Leanne as she fell out my front door on Xmas night.

I was just thinking to myself....and was actually about to mail you.... "I wish young Hicksy would fuck off out the office and do some work so I can actually make some headway on these tunes before the painkillers ruined me for the day"

And then I thought "Naaaaaaa, she's much more fun" :D

PS....just tell her..."look I wasn't trying to be nasty or anything...i'm just completely Shit-witted from hanging round with a bunch of online loons"

OK....I'll embarass myself so u feel better....(that's a REAL gentleman that)

When I was 9...for some reason,my brain broke down on my birthday....and every time anyone wished me a happy birthday, I wished them one right back.

(maybe I just had delusions of godhood, and felt my B'day should be a world festival)

I had a phase of that, saying thanks every time i got off the bus (which is polite). Then i got off the train and said it and everyone just looked at me like i was mad!!!

LOL...not done that...tho I do thank busdrivers.

Got stared at a few times while on the Apollo mission for like, letting ladies on in front of me, or holding doors open for people and even, helping an elderly lady off the coach with her bag. What happened to good manners. Are we the last 2 people brought up right?

BTW...I ALWAYS thank the sound engineer after gigs[1] cos from experience 99 times out of hundred the only things people ever say to engineers is "can you get me autographs" or a drunken lecture on the best EQ to use to sort out that drumkit, moving on to general drunken abuse and complaining.

[1] I didn't at the apollo, the engineering bit balls and it made me sick
