FA charges Sommeil after tackle

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man\_city/4587536.stm The FA charges Man City's David Sommeil with violent conduct after his tackle on Spurs' Lee Young-Pyo.

I didn't watch the game and the article is so badly written I don't quite parse what happened. So what happened and was it really as bad to warrant that kind of suspension??

Was it any worse than Gerrard/Nolan earlier this week because that shit looked nasty? Is Lee Young-Pyo not a good scouser??

it was a shocker girl. Citeh didn't turn up. the dead crowd made no effort. Distain had time by the by-line, and fucked up bigtime. I turned over at half time.

thank god tinpot club Luton is on the telly 2mo against us. should be a goodun. that's why its ion the BBC. the beeb are hoping for an upset.

take it you didn't see it. city have now lost 4 times at home to the top four, i think.

yeah I was at work :( I was following the score online but I'm really curious about that tackle :(

it's probably on replay sometime this week but I have a hard time watching loses on replay.

The citeh/cunthrope FA cup match isn't on but I'll be cheering on your boys against Luton

don't know what he means by Good Scouser. sort of implies there may be bad ones dunnit. just his turn of phrase i think. Kev's a part-time mate of Steve's anyway.

a girl i know knows Nolan. says his house (in Liverpool btw) is like Southfork Ranch in Dallas. his dad is his agent and goes to every Bolton game with him. make's a change from all these bloodsucking agents who just want their own slice. kev's just one of the lads. that's what he probably meant by good scouser. he's not flash or bigheaded, despite Southfork, and puts in 100% (for the Real Madrid of the North -  )

didn't see the Lee tackle as i'd flicked over by then.

Dunno... I still am curious how one can still be breathing and existing on this mortal plane and be described as "good". :evil4:

Took a long lunch hour to watch it, unfortunately was on the phone in another room when the tackle occurred, even missed the replays. Martin Jol said today that he was satisfied with the judgment, so that's good enough for me as to the severity. (They only showed Young-Pyo on the stretcher afterward on Sky Sports just a bit ago, with no tackle)

Hadn't really known you were a City fan before, but it was a great result for me, the beer tasted just a little bit better for lunch, especially on Robbie Keane's goal....:thumb:
