That FA cup match was televised here, that knot in my stomach after it was over put me in a 
mood yesterday, that's for sure. Definitely a hangover today.....

Indeed it is Bonzette...........the melt down against City a couple of years ago, with them fielding 10 men, didn't exactly cheer me up....

No, it probably just worsens it for me, I suppose, cause I can't see that many. This year, been able to watch the matches v. Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, and Man City so far, along with the FA Cup debacle.
Oh yeah, it was a good thing my neighbor wasn't home last year for the Mendes non-goal against Man U either, took a long lunch to enjoy some good pizza and beer.............and that! 
Ah well, couldn't possibly cheer for someone else after all of this time, gotta drive an hour this Saturday morning for the Liverpool match, 7 am local time, at Kells, where there should be a lively crowd ready and waiting. Don't think I can wait until the replay on Fox on Sunday morning.

There'll probably be about 50 or so people, at least, at the bar Saturday, and most of 'em will probably be rooting for the Reds, it'll be the interaction between the two sets that's gonna be lively, especially in a tightly contested game.
A waiter at my favourite Mexican restaurant was sporting an Arsenal shirt while working last month, there was some good-natured joking going on between us, and he was kind enough to turn the TV set so we could watch Everton collapse against Bolton.
Finally, I spotted about 20 Spurs shirts, all US citizens, at the Celtic/ Chelsea friendly in Seattle in 2004. Guess we were all there for the same reason: hoping to see somebody beat Chelsea in person. Thanks for the laughs in this thread Bonzette, tis appreciated.
Oh yeah, before that match, there was a banner for Chelsea fans to sign outside the stadium......I had to sneak around and sign a Go Spurs!!! to their precious banner.

I'm impressed, even though you are a Spurs fan!
Ironically, in my last job, i had to go to Whit Hart Lane for meetings and courses. No need to tell you how pissd off they used to be when i used to drive into their carpark, into my reserved space, with all my Arsenal stickers and mini kit in full view, and.......they had to feed me!!
I could feel the knives in my back. Still, all a laugh, got to be cheeky sometimes.
I'll keep a look out for footy stuff over here you might find interesting. Not likely to be anything related to Spurs then!
