Well Ladies (and miscelaneous females of other categories)...this is it...the moment you've all been waiting for. At last the chance to proclaim your love, lust, or down right sexual obsession for the great Bernard in the finest style imaginable, by sporting one of these fine pink badges.

To qualify, you must be female, and have a serisous desire to do unprintable and dispicable things to poor Barney. It costs fuck all, cos I'm a nice guy and some some very nice founder angels to back me up.

All you need to do is send a mail...which MUST contain your affirmation that you are a Barney fancier. It should also contain your country (this is VITAL if you are in the US as I need to know how many badges to ship to our Special US Agent Angel) to this address...

angels@slightlynarrow.co.uk

The badges will be with me next week, at that time, I will conatact you back asking for an address to send it to.

if any of you are at all sheepish about handing your address over to some undersexed Irish nut-job...fear not, a female (in the lovely shape of Miss Bonzette) will also have a small supply...but we'll sort that out once I know how many of yous there are....tho putting (I'm scared and i'd rather Bonzette sent me my badge) in your mail would be helpful...and no i wont be offended.

MEN OF NOOL...I do NOT WANT TO HEAR IT. What ever reason you think you have for getting one of these...it's probably a shite one. talk to me in a coupla months and we'll see if any are left.

you'd have more chance if you didnt fork out for the badges!

but then again, what you do with your money is your own business.

Well done Cambo!

May i just add. Alpine Angel (founding member), Wino (founding member), Wino's friend, Delilah(founding member) and Julie, i will keep hold of your badges and give them to you when we arrive at Mal- if ok with you.

there's also the thing about me not really being too well still Apollo14 near killed me, and that was a matter of dandering in off the street, watching No and leaving. Manc Aid is going to be HOURS of standing in wall to wall sweaty tossers listening to utter shite, paying £10 for a glass of water, queueing for 8 hours for a piss, and all to see NO play for what? 20 mins (20 UNSOUNDCHECKED mins at that).

I kinda thought that insteast of me being bitter and whining about it for the next coupla weeks, I'd do something nice instead.

I wasn't aware the two were mutually exclusive Al. I think it's OK to be a viking AND a sexually demented female who wants to jump a superanuated mancunian.

http://bestbadges.co.uk/

They do the viking stylee ones but i didnt get any quotes on those....this is a daft venture and I have no desire to compete or attempt to out do you in any way old chap.

remember...a big pink badge= a 100% garaunteed quality date/company. I should think you guys would approve of them.

Actually, you can probably have a badge anyway, would seem a bit petty to deny you after all those vikings badges, purely cos you are unfortunately enough to be a bloke. I'm sure one of the "pink ladies" will facilitate you (in a badge capacity anyway) at manc Aid.

I don't mind being a human shield as long as I get to carry a bat into battle. Preferably one of those police batons/ blackjacks and a tanker of some alcoholic liquid as my go-go juice.

I see hordes of men running away in terror as a strange female is catapulted into them at 40 odd miles an hour. Might be best to leave the squeamish home.:evil4:

(though, really you're likely to see me soft as a mouse and sleepy as opposed to absolutely violent when over my limit, so no one has to fear being killed while next to me at a gig.)

I'm thinking Steve's badge will be needing to be made from motherboard material, perhaps with brass embellishment of a tank on the center of the pin.

yeah, but the name will be tricky.

Steve's strumpets? Morris' Merry maidens? little drummer girls?

PS...I am having NOTHING to do with that one...I love gillan far to much to assist in the demise of her happy marriage. nor am I having ANYTHING AT ALL to do with "pete's pretty ones"or "hook's harlots" nor indeed "phil's phuckbuddies" and absolutely not "gillian's gents"

:D:D:D:D:D

Morris' Mortar Maidens

Ah, too true though, wouldn't want ol' Steve and Gillian to have to deal with too much fan-ridden rabidness. The lusters would hopefully be polite.

I had a horrible thought just now of any fan wearing a innocent Joy Division badge being confronted and asked about their services. :evil4:

I'd definitely do it for a laugh. Better work on my track skills so I can run off once I affront whomever the pin owner is.

LOL I didn't think precious goths were your type Melly :D

A Barney's Angels badge is a sign, a proclaimation that says.... "not only am I into New Order, and therefor INSTANTLY more fun to be around than the rest of the populace, but I am also crazy enough to publicly proclaim my disgraceful lustings for a 50 yr old man who's been senile for decades already. You can therefor expect a good laugh with me, although you're buying, and you'll probably end up "going to the bog" and running outside to jump in a waiting cab to get away before too long"

Oh good grief no. Not into that type at all. Though oddly they get into to me. Curious. :brow: But more for the dark humor behind the name Joy Division, really than anything mopey and whiny. Nothing like calling someone a "chosen" whore to kickstart an evening right.

I do note that I do dutch when paying for drinks, so likely if we're out and about, no guy'll be stuck buying rounds of whatnot that evening, at least for me.

Ah, the senile man. Not many 50 year olds I can say I've got the heartbeat for. Whole O' New Order's luck has been filled with the ranks of people like me.

Spotty student, hooligan... where's the good humored lunatic choice?

Hello fellow Arian

I hope I don't fall into that other category! I think I said enough in that poem - anything further and I might have to go and lie down in a darkened room. My firm has decided to give free bottles of water to all the staff, they said to me yesterday that I need to drink more, I said that I drink enough already, but not necessarily water!

Well Steve I think to be a true qualifying Angel you have to be under 45 and that means I don't qualify. Also I think I would be more of a tinkerbell than a Angel and if I got on that boat with Barny and his Angels. Barny would probably make me walk the plank for trying to start a mutiny. Hey I don't look drastic for my age I've got one of those pictures in the attic you know - at the rate I go up there I will soon be younger than you lot.

Enjoy standing knee deep in piss for 5 hours listening to appalling pop music, all to see NO mime BM, TF and BLT, and Barney arsefuck LWTUA yet again. This thread is re-opened for business, as long as everyone can play nicely. Steve, I didn't single you out for locking threads. I think everyone here gets your drift that certain regular BCD posters contribute little more than nonsense, but I think everyone is entitled to post whatever they like--provided it's not a lot of attacking one another, and your numberous threads of the other day just seemed to make matters worse. If you don't like how I'm doing things, please contact me and let me know.

Yeah, sounds like fun!

I got the idea from our local Hero Eddie the twat Irvine...... at the ozzie GP one year, Jordan had printed 1000's of badges proclaiming "damon's 200 today" on account of young Mr Hill's 200th race. Irv spent around 2 hours going up and down the pitlane saying "can I see your badge", then whipping it off them and firing it up on top of bernie exxlestones tv control truck. Apparently something like 300 ended up there :D Mr Ecclestone probably would have had him shot, but he won the race. Being mental pays well :D

A badge might burst her, Mike. Or she made of a hi-grade rubber?! :uhoh:

(Can you give me the address of your supplier, if so).

Am presuming Ness is gonna stick with The Vikings!

Finally found this thread, I was wondering was all the fuss was about!!

Yes, Vikings for me!, the thought of being a BA makes me squirm in horror :eek3:

Each to their own though!

My feelings also Ness and I posted as much on another thread. We had best stick with what we know!!! See you in a couple of weeks, Well, at least IF we eventually agree which pub to meet in.

Who indeed, but as I mentioned to you before (different thread) don't want Hooky feeling left out, and if he sees me with a pink badge he may not blow me a kiss or throw the drumsticks in our direction as he did last time!!!

that's the single most rational thing anyone's said so far :D

And as I said....not touching "hook's harpies" no maam.

TBH....half of my idea regarding BA's was to give Hooky something to rip Bernard about, especially since he has his spies here:D

I don't see how getting "Ness never lets us down" inked under my trousers means that I hate women, pink badges, you or anything else. It couldn't, because I don't.

Just calm down a bit - you're getting hysterical. You just lay in wait for me then and attacked the first thing I said. Keep it up and I will start to get pissed off with you. Until then, if you can find some evidence of all this hatred I'm guilty of I'd be happy to see it.

Yeah, I quite like that idea!!

Being a 'lady' (using the term loosely) I can't see how that equates to lady hating

Anyhow, Steve is offering a service to a lot of grateful females, so we can't criticise him for that really and we are all entitled to our opinions.

Steve, you're over-reacting (again). Us being mates with Ness does not imply for-one-single-moment that we [ahem] 'hate ladies'. Get a grip of yerself, fella.

Ness would be the leader of Hooky's Angels though.. the Vikings are always Hooky's side.

Well OK then, but without the name

At least it is possible to have a bit of interaction with Hooky when he is on-stage, he always spots familiar faces!

Well, it appears I owe you an apology. I rather assumed you meant getting "the thought of Barney's Angels makes me squirm" on yer arse. As you can imagine. THAT made me blood boil. So not an over reaction, a perfectly measured reaction based on a false premise. Maybe I was on red alert, especially after the events of the previous 24, but if you think I'm over senstive ONLINE, try spending 20 mins with me in the flesh when things start to get to me these days :D remember, my GP told me "I don't care if you have days you aren't so sore, you're a disaster waiting to happen in a call centre on those pills" Mayhaps I am a touch hysterical or paranoid, because frankly the fact that this little larf of ours generated any genuine ill feeling shocked me imensely, such was certainly never my intention, quite the reverse in fact, I wanted to give something back, at least until such times as NOOLday happens when I may actually serve some useful purpose.

on the plus side, at least I had to the good sense to go away and not start a shootin war again.

Deary me, what must Ness think of me, that I find her name insulting ?

Sorry Ness :D

Can I also point out, AGAIN, that Barney is NOT my leader in any way, cut me in half and you'll see a pic of a Shergold Marathon 6 running right through me. But no, no "hooky's hookers" badges are getting made :D

Can I also point out for the record, that really, anyone can have one of the silly badges, once those that wish to wear em with pride have been taken care of, anyone who feels the need for one in the collection is more than welcome.

Thanks for apologising. I'm sorry for any offence caused.

No worries, any offence caused was purely on the inside of my heed anyway.
