NFL Playoffs: the road to the Super Bowl

Now that Indy has shockingly lost, I think the SB is up for grabs with four good teams still alive and peaking at the right time. I think Denver will win it all with Carolina as the darkhorse- no one seems to be able to cover Steve Smith.

I was rooting for my team, the Redskins, but I guess they couldn't muster enough offense to knock off Seatle even with Shaun Alexander out early with a concussion and the Redskins stellar defense couldn't rescue the team just one more time.

Well, my team didn't make it to the play-offs (St. Louis Rams). So I hold thumbs for Indianapolis and they're out now. Manning should get that damn bowl one day. I fear his little brother will get it before he does. So I'm with the Steelers and the Seahawks now. That means the SB is going to be Broncos - Panthers and the Broncos will win (because I would be with the Panthers then)...

Elway was class and about 11ft tall, loved those 2 wins at the end of his career;

1999 Denver Broncos 34-19 Atlanta Falcons
1998 Denver Broncos 31-24 Green Bay Packers

Elway choked against SF one year. 55 to sux. However, risking to sound like a cocksucking ass kisser, I'd love to see Denver win the SB this year.

Anybody but the Steelers, they were my brother's team growing up, so I've never been able to stomach them much

Have some reasons to root for the remaining three (location for Seattle, family in Colorado, and I've always liked DeShaun Foster (Carolina) as a RB since he was a Bruin), so it doesn't really matter to me, I still probably won't watch it anyway.

Oh yeah, a Steelers fan had a rather severe reaction to Jerome Bettis's fumble Sunday, glad to see that he's okay, that's a helluva way to kick the bucket.......

When Jerome Bettis fumbled, I felt so bad for him since he's going to retire after this season and what a way to go out like that which would have probably haunted him for a very long time but as it turned out Indy missed the ensuing field goal and Steelers hung on to win. Bettis was off the hook. He was "touched by the hand of god"

Go Seattle! Should be a close Super Bowl with both teams evenly matched. Pittsburgh is 3 1/2 pt favorites so far.

now that the broncos are out i have absolutely no interest in the super bowl.

Seattle, please. Is this the year they wait two weeks after the Championship games? Hate, hate, hate that.....worse than all of those TV timeouts during a game. Still probably won't watch it (okay, I'll probably tune in toward the end).

i hope the steelers win. bill cowher is a great coach and deserves a ring. it would be great for jerome to go out with a bang.

Thet's the bowl I feared for. Two teams I like (though the Seahawks are in the same conference as the Rams ;) ). But I think hold thumbs for the Steelers. They did a great job marching through the play-offs as number 6 (Roethlisberger and Ward were in my fantasy team, so go guys). And who doesn't want Jerome Bettis to win in his hometown :D ?

In reality, the Super Bowl just gives me an excuse to drink and party!!
