After a great deal of procastinating and checking loads of fine print on phone/broadband packages I finally bit the bullet today and signed up to Optus for both services. Just got sick of overpriced snail's pace dialup and managed to still get a good lot of download allowance around the clock and only a shaping penalty not a financial one for going over the monthly allowance. Interstate call rates and line rental were pretty good as well. Should all be oop and running within 4-10 days hopefully. Also had broadband install fee and ADSL modem costs waived, picked up a free Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse package as well. Well chuffed :D

I want broadband. My parents have it and i can't believe how much quicker it is. I wouldn't dream of coming on NOOL on my home computer, it takes at least a minute to load each page.
