FFS Jem, I thought everyone else had already pointed out my memory was shot to shit....but you reminding me about the BEST of all dance tunes (well, it's a tossopt twixed gerald and 80 for the final running) is just too painful. I've been SHAKING THE FOUNDATIONS with 808state for about half an hour :D

I must confess to there being tears when watching 24hpp alone and Voodoo ray drops in......good to plug the dvd into the hi-fi so it is.

Went to the hedkandi site to see WTF you were on about....oh girl, you'd wet yerself at Rich and George DJin, smooth, vocal house with about 6 twists of weirdness is their signature dish. We're defo gonna have to run a coach from Bolton to our next coastal thrash.

Was thinking about Gerald then, about watching that series "pump up the volume". It starts off with all the amzing early Chicago and detroit and NY stuff, then decends into horrid soul-pish....then suddenly, the Brits show up, on comes Voodoo Ray and you remember why life is worth living :D

I also forgot Fish, Sea shanty and keep a move on by Mr scruff. (Great way to get rid of party crashers, 15 mates smashed in the kitchen with the decks up full singing "there's a whale there'a a whale, there's a whalefish he cried and the whale was in full view".

I love Mr Scruff, but it can get a bit weird, Alfie likes all the weird noises on it. He always cocks his head when i put that on.

Cheers! Yes, Last Rhythm is a classic, takes me back...! All these tunes, and next week, will really take me back to the fantastic years I spent at University in Manchester, hearing all these tunes in the Hacienda and other such clubs of the time - superb! :D

there are several possibilities.......

1. they'll eventually decide on a venue, the day before.
2. It'll turn into ye olde aceeede house parteye and everyone will standing around in coach stations and carparks askin each other "WTF"
3. They're all waiting to see what pub you and Bonz are gonna be in, so they can go somewhere else :D
