Personally I wasnt too bothered at first. But the more I hear, and with the World Cup looming, I think the guy should be booted out. Up the arse, very hard and very far away. I dont see how he can command ANY respects from the players now after some of his comments.

The man is a disgrace. £4m and year, crap at his job, backhand dealins with Ambramovich, now Saudi sheiks, shagging around at work (ok, that aint so bad!). Is he untouchable?

The FA should get rid, and get someone in for a short term contract for the World Cup. Stuart Pearce would be ideal. Old school player to sort the primadonnas out.

The problem is the farts at the FA are on too good a gravy train, they are all taking their bit from the pot. And the money, as always, come from us mugs, the fans.

Bollocks to it, fcuk England.

(I will obviously change my mind once the tournament kicks off)

Do you know anything about football? Obviously not!

It would rock the boat to get someone else in, at this stage (he should have gone ages ago), but you can bet your last pound, at the World Cup, he won't really be the person with the controlling say in the team. It'll be the so called "senior" players making the key decisions, just like the Euro's.

He's a puppet, that's all he is. A well-paid puppet mind. He'll be gone as soon as we fuck up the WC Quarters again. Or he'll strike it lucky and the likes of Gerrard and Owen will deliver when it counts. Either way, he won't be England manager by August.

As long as he doesn't wander off having 3 different affairs just a week before the tournament.

No i'm not envious (well ,maybe a bit) but it always seems every tournament something crops up to interfere with things.

I don't care how rich he is, how any of those women could ever go there is well beyond anything i could ever imagine in my worst nightmares! :nonono:

Will he be rewarded with some honorary gong if we win the world cup? More to the point- with the precedent set by the Ashes winning cricket team will the football aquad be knighted if we win the competition?

With a first 11 like this one available it would be almost criminal not to at least make the semi-final. Don't think Sven is the most inspiring of coaches though as the golden opportunity which was presented and not grasped against Brazil last WC proved. If you had Mourinho in charge though i'd be seriously worried about "football coming home".

Good point John. Doesn't this just sum it up though? A team full of great players will always lose to a great team.

He's shoddy and has no charisma. We need someone to really motivate the players. And why do people suggest Stuart Pearce? He's only been a manager for a FEW MONTHS. But yeah, he is an ok manager.

He's an idiot, and the FA are bigger idiots for rewarding his incompetence with a salary that means we can't afford to sack him (does this mean every England manager from now on will demand a similar wage?)

I thought he should have gone after Euro 2004 because it was ridiculous how we had no plan b after Rooney went off vs Portugal. Out with him after the cup, hopefully he'll leave and save us the money.

Sven will stay to the World Cup. mad to get rid now.

I can't believe how a shifty lookin flat eared mushroom headed turnip can motivate a bunch of millionaires, in a way that say El Tel was able to do in Euro96. I don't think the players trust him anymore, but they'll have to for several weeks, to give us any chance of winning.

He just seems to sit there on the Bench, surrounded by Beauts like Sammy Lee and McClaren, and does fuck all. In fact, he's got the best seat in the Stadium, coz he never stands up. Robbie Fowler in his book said that the half time talk during the last W.C against Brazil was a joke. Svens mules did all the talking and Sven kept stum. There was no Tony Adams type fist pumping to get everyone going for the second half...and we went out.

Bottom line is that Sven should go immediately in the week after our exit or win from the world cup. He is one greedy bastard, and is only in it for the money. Even if we do win the World cup, my opinion won't change. The Aston Villa thing is scandalous, although Dave Whelan from Wigan always goes over the top.

The clock's ticking Sven on your unbe-fuckin-lievable £3million a year Salary.

Not so sure about that. El Tel didn't have to qualify for Euro 96 and plus all their games were played at Wembley. Two good wins against Scotland and Holland though.

As for Sven keep the ugly cunt in charge as England will flop once again in the Quarter/Semi Finals.

tactically sound at the time Tel.

good training ground spirit, and the players liked him and respected him. not so sure about that with Sven any more.

It depends on what Sven decides to do with Gerrard imo. he's key.

I'm sure Gerrard will have a big say in what role he plays! Lampard, Beckham and Gerrard will be pushing for what they feel is best. When they were not keen on the formation Sven picked for a Euro game, they made him change it!

I'm certain FA are relying on the "senior" players and other staff to get England through.

Gerrards best games for England came when he was linking with Beckham playing right side centre mid.

If Gerrard & Rooney arent on form in the WC we've no chance. No one else to carry the team.

Pearce would be good as the team picks itself. He would just be to scare the life out of the players if their standard drops. And to twat the opposition coach if we concede.

Sven is a tossbag full stop. What does Rooney think about him now after Sven slagged his family off?

I actually think that Glenn Hoddle has been one of the better England coaches in recent times, though it did go a bit Pete Tong for him when he opened his big gob.

not news to me sven being disloyal. he agreed to manage blackburn in 1998 but asked we wait 6 months without a manager until his current contract ran out..we waited..then about a month before he secretly met and signed for lazio instead !! :confused2:

...and his family aren't even that poor or rough.

Croxteth's not too bad. loads of other worse places like Speke, Netherley and Norris Green.

Well I am male and I know dick about chavball. in fact I know as much about Man U and the offside rule[1] as most of you lot know about venturi tunnels, donkey dicks, drive-by-wire and gurney flaps.

BUT...my 2 pence... I cannot get my head around this.... In football...... 11 guys go out and play like retards and get hammered by some 3rd world bunch of fucktards (like NI, whose national side draws from approximately the same population base as Oldham, and without the ability to buy in), and they sack the guy who wasn't playing....repeatedly..new guy comes in....same players lose....sack manager again...and so on ad fucking infinitum.

In politics or ANY other field, the guy at the top NEVER takes the blame...dodgy finances....it's a subordinate....shaggin the scretary...it was a mdeical condidtion...ilegal wars...deny it's ilegal...same old same old. I think the English populace really ought to treat their PM like their footbal manager and their footbal manager like their PM...country would not only be in a better state, but you'd win things AND beckham and his retard (and that Toilets woman who got famous for having a working minge and no delete button on her phone) could finally be publicly hanged for what they have done to the upcomming gernations (meaning...tech them it's good to be a moron)

[1]actually a lie, I understand the offside rule, I made a point of it during the 1982 WC
