minimal interest here. it has one major drawback, one of our tv station's programming is totally dominated by it.

I'd be interested if I bothered to get cable television again. Just don't watch enough television anymore to justify the expense. Tennis is oddly soothing to watch.

she's allright. ggod to see martina hingis making a successful comeback, but other than that ..... really the new generation of players hold no interest for me. where are the agassi's the rafter's etc. sorry watching federer is just boring.

Well, as there are now three Swiss players in the quarter finals, the TV here is pretty much full of nothing except the Aussie Open!

But tennis is great :thumb:

well we do actually. it is just that most of them happen to come from the us.

I couldn't care less, except in fact to check if Martina Hingis is able to have that big of a return.

at least the cricket is not on 7 days a week. it only seems that way. actually it is on for about three days a week. at least the one dayers can be exciting.

It doesn't seem to get the noterity as the other grand slams- French, Wimbledon, and US Open.

Roddick has already lost so has the Williams Sisters but Roger Federer, the cool cat, is again on the prowl to win it all.

Anyway Vaughan's got his hands full with the ashes so holding the world cup might prove a little difficult

What about Aussie shows Ron? Like Neighbours? Home And Away? Blue Heelers? (what a clever little title for an Aussie TV show) Australian Fucken Idol? and what about the Tennis Ron?, the goddamn fucken tennis. Isn't tennis exciting? watching a yellow ball go back and forth between two tennis players for fucken ever. The tennis centre in Melbourne should be used for rock gigs only and tennis players, comentators and fans should be locked up, but that's just my personal opinion, i'm sure you understand that Ron. By the way, do you still want that New Order gig from the Move Festival mate?

Who gives a rats who invented them? You keep inventing 'em, we'll keep showing you how to play 'em!

Count how many Cricket World Cups, Ashes urns, Rugby World Cups (both variants), Grand Slam tennis tournaments, Davis Cups, Olympic and Commonwealth medals, etc, we've won in the past twenty years compared to your lot. No comparison.

You haven't even won a football World Cup for the past forty years and have you ever won a Euro Cup? Yet football's a religion over there.

Who shipped my great, great, great, grandad out here? Never happened.

But you're probably referring to the same crew who came out here, murdered the locals and consigned their race to destitution forever.
