Diminutive hangers-on who've never even bloody even been to Aberdeen are unwelcome and, as previously requested, should stay off this thread.

Well, I've also been to Aberdeen (and like New Order), all I remember about the place is that there's a pub called "Frankenstein" (or something like that) which I stumbled in at 9am in the morning after 4 hours kip and a hangover to order a pint and a greasy breakfast!

Oh yeah, and it was full of Geordies (and Mackems) arriving for their month-on, month-off, oil rig duties!

I can confirm that it's a real girl with hair and everyting. As proof, I’ll share my diary entry with you (never done this before)…

Wednesday 1st Feb 3006

Fine Indian dinner in the Apartment with Piper and the Good Doctor. Then into town for riotous night with some of the semi-skilled from the office. Returned to the apartment to find a vision of beauty in the drawing room. With skin like porcelain and hair like the finest silk she perched like a little doll on the chaise lounge. Was I dreaming? Could she be real? I reached out to touch her with my hand, unable to resist the temptation to feel the softness of her skin. Oh joy; she SPOKE to me! “Keep yer fuckin hands to yerself yer fat old bastard”. Ahh the voice of an angel.

I retired, and dreamed that I was in heaven.

This thread will just run & run......

Martin, there must have been exceptional circumstances, you obviously know that in Aberdeen its NEVER too early for a bacon sarnie

I had good reason to stay in bed.

I knew it was a mistake to let you read my diary!

Off to the footie tomorrow night, then out with a couple of mates for beer on Thursday.

Coming?

I'm going to the football tomorrow night too.

Got some plans for early part of thursday evening, could probably make it for after half-eight though.

I've got a new mob number I'll mail it to you.

did the other half of aberdeen orders weekend go to plan?

I went to the Ian Brown gig and then the aftershow party, he's not my hero but if he was then I would re-itirate the saying that you should never meet your heroes. He's a bit weird.

Oh, yes please. It's a classy beverage that I've heard matures well when kept uncorked in an Aberdeen fridge.
