The first meeting of the Official Aberdeen Order was held last night.

Following this success, we will be applying to have our own Forum, called either "In A Lonely Place" or "Vanishing Point": watch out for the special 'members only' poll. T-shirts are being printed as we speak, these will be useful as our members will be able to recognise one another in crowded rooms.

Look out for our weekly newsletter. Downloadable from our website www.aberdeenorder.com every Friday. The weekly rally will be held every Saturday * at various locations around the City.

Following last night’s momentous meeting, it has been proposed that 25th January be commemorated every year with a special dinner/dance - all members are welcome.

* Please note that this Saturdays rally has been cancelled, as both members will be in Manchester.

I'll be Angus Order...er, well I'm back in Edinburgh now but that doesn't matter! :D The last Angus Order rally was comprised of me and a sheep.

The sheep would come to MancAid but the farmer won't let it.

I'm gutted...

Please would all non-Aberdeen Order members refrain from posting on this thread. Until we have our own forum, this is our primary method of staying in touch.

Aberdeen Order Update.

Member news:

Biggie went out on the lash and doesn't feel well today. No bacon sarnie though - doing it with fruit today!

Royser spent the last two nights fixing computers. He must be feeling great by now, unlike earlier in the week when he felt delicate.

Guest Aberdonian Dr Clayhead stayed in BIGINOIL Towers and drank rose after two nights of Biggie home cuisine.

Watch this thread for news of next week's meeting and details of our fun 'members only' competition!

I know you, you live in Aberdeen.

I know somebody else who was in Aberdeen on Monday.

Does this mean i qualify for membership?

Permanent residents may join.

Occasional visitors may be associate members.

Members are allowed to bring a guest (usually someone they're shagging) to certain events like the annual dinner & dance and the Hogroast.

Diminutive hangers-on who've never even bloody even been to Aberdeen are unwelcome and, as previously requested, should stay off this thread.

I've got drunk on my own down Union St (some American style theme bar in '95) and I like New Order.

Where does that put me in the pecking order

Do we have a Peking Order?

Update: Clayhead's been & gone. Was served BIGINOIL lasagne & chicken jalfrezi (declined offer of bacon sarnie cos it was too fucking early for Clayhead). Had fine time.

This thread will just run & run......

Ha ha - big up the cooking and you can come any time!

Always a pleasure, Prof - come again soon.

Thanks for the gift too - there was really no need, but it was much appreciated.

Hic!

It wasn't even that early: at least 11.30.
