Since 80% of my spam comes from these forums. I would think we all get a few. Mine go to all the right bins, but once in a while one escapes or I spot one while bin-hoking for false positives.

Anyway.... what's the funniest title (or if you read some of them) spam you've got.

This is no candidate for the funniest ever but it just appeared and prompted this post......

Several emails recently asking me to 'Please update your account details with Barclays Bank, as a matter of urgency!'

Um, I don't think so.

For starters, I have never banked with Barclays in my life!

Not as bad as First Direct. Got a voicemail to call them. I recognised the start of the number as First Direct but the last 3 digits were different. Obviously a direct line to someone but how could I be sure? So I phoned and they wanted to ask me the usual security questions. I refused as I couldnt trust the number as I didnt know it. So they couldnt speak to me. Idiots.

Are those premium rate reply texts a thing of the past yet?

( I never got one but a mate of mine who has the sickest phone I ever seen got billed like 4 quid or something for replying to something like "fancy a fuck"...chapin question s a dog of the lowest. He also put 10 quid on his phone one nihgt on the way into work and it was empty by the time he got there because of all the stupid subscription tone and pic shite he'd signed up to.....deserve wverything you get if you do all that shite)

My faves are the ones with the "do this NOW" attitude, which apparently carries over to the originators of the spam to disregarding things such as spelling, etc. Just got this one from PayPal......

This one came VERY close to snaring me.

Had a similar one 'from' Amazon too.
