Give him a chance he's a massive whovian himself. been in LOADS of the audio plays as all sorts of characters, and at least he looks like a timelord and not a fuckin car thief.

just finished watching the last episode of the original tv series on friday. it took our abc a whole two years to show the lot.

I reckon Tennent will be OK. Chris Eccleston will take some beating though. Been watching a lot of reto episodes lately. That Davros was a mean mo-fo!

Problem with davros was they got too carried away with him and stuck him in virtuall every Dalek story after Genesis (which IS the finest thing the beeb ever made)

Tennant was great in the UNIT plays as Brimacombe-Wood and none too bad in Dalek Empire either. Xmas invasion was mass audience Dr Who....he'll be better. And don;t forget that not only will the cybermen be returning..... so will the two best companions a timelord ever had... Sarha jane Smith and K9 (MKI I believe). i'll take an English Rose ove Rose the chav any day (nearly shit when the boss alien called her "the yellow female" LOL)
