Thr Rollingstones suck

I just watched them on the Superbowl, and They sing worse then New Order, Mick Dances worse then Barney. Their Drummer sucks and Peter Hook kills their bass player. Their guitar is the only thing they have going for them. Its put to rest for me, New Order kills the Stones. I cant believe people make fun of Barney when that goof is a complete moron.

I'm just glad Mick's boob didn't pop out.

If that had happened, the NFL would've had to dig up Laurence Welk for halftime next year

The Rolling Stones are over with. And about that comment about lauging at Barney's dancing, it's because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. However, sometimes I had the guilty pleasure of saying, "I like it because, I do those dance moves as warm-ups." Let me clear the record--NO is more enduring and charismatic than the Rolling Stones, and I dance way better than Barney. I took lessons in jazz, ballet, and tap.

And now for an opposing viewpoint:

Barney can't dance. Barney couldn't dance if he had to dance to save his life. His dancing is an embarassment. How he EVER managed to create the best dance music ever is beyond the understanding of mere mortals.

Mick Jagger, on the other hand, is a very entertaining stage presence. Vocally, visually...the man's a legend, and for good reason. He's smart, funny, articulate, somehow he doesn't need autocue to remember the words to his own songs. Must be because he never took drugs, eh?

Charlie Watts is a drummer extraordinaire. Another legend. His timing is metronome-perfect. One half of a legendary rhythm section.

Can't speak as to the other half-- Wyman's probably off marrying some 13 year old somewhere, and I have no idea who their current bassist is.

Ron Wood is an underrated guitarist-- a really great, great player. Absolutely fantastic. New Order ever have a guitarist you could say that about?

Keef... Looks like death, only not as lifelike. Not as brilliant a player as many from his era, but an absolutely solid rhythm guitarist nonetheless, and an absolutely brilliant first-rate songwriter.

i don't mind them, but i wouldn't part with my hard-earned to see them.

If you ever want the original line-up to reunite, invite Mick and the boys over for a pool party...

not a great Stones fan but give them a little break

1# ... they are 30 years past their prime (at least they look as healthy as can be expected)

2# ... they were playing in a virtually impossible gig... the set up and limitations are surreal. it is all pretty stupid and pointless to began with. maybe just greedy on their part to accept the gig, but then they have little else to do at the twilight of their lives

3# ... Mick Jagger is 100 times cooler in a rock way than Bernand, but then Bernand is himself

mick cooler than barney? mick has seemed more like some corporate ceo these past 15 years. barney is rock'n'roll.

I used to think Barney's dancing was irritating and disrespectful to their music, their pedigree, etc. whatnot until I saw them in person. Then it made perfect sense.

as Bad as the Stones were, Aretha, Aaron Neville & Dr. John Doing the national Anthem was much worse
