Eddie's taking over the country by the looks. next stop Bali. footy show is funny. went back to aus two years ago for a hol (i.e October, before the fly season spiralled out of control) and seen the footy show. Is Trevor Marmalade still on it? he was a boss laff on that.

Think a lot of us here have got a bit tired of the buffoons on the footy show. Marmalade is still on it but the show has been on for a few years now and is getting a bit tired. What sort of lingo is "boss laff"?

I lived in Adelaide for the whole of 2000. Was doing some scientific study in the SA desert.

Very cool place. I lived in an area called Birkenhead, with my work colleagues.

Travelled to watch Richmond in the footy however. never made it to crows or port.

new order always hits the spot, especially after a bottle of SA red wine.

Yeah, I know Birkenhead near the Port. Glad you liked Adelaide. I also love a good South Aussie red - particularly sparkling burgundy. I was pissed off when in Leicester a couple of years ago - couldn't get the sparkling red there. The guys here call it a good leg opener - but that's another story!!

I got paid good money for the research and in pounds sterling which meant my beer tokens went 3 times as far I want to return one day as I never got round to going out on a boat looking for great-whites. I was due to do it one day but got a lock-in in an aboriginie cafe and was too hungover for anything the next day. My work has placements in Perth these days so it have to be on vacation rather than working next time.

Nobody I know likes NO, but over the years I've got use to people not knowing what I'm talking about it's quite normal for me. When you've acquired all NO cd's, then buy some of the JD ones.

Bit late to this thread (Johnny come lately:( )but welcome ,Fay.

As already said it is nice to see a cute innocent post from a newbie. Give it a few days and you'll soon be talking in codes and riddles.
