I kind of twisted my left knee on Monday. It doesn't seem to be clearing up.Wondering if i've torn something or pulled a muscle.I get a twinge on the inside lower part

I can walk fairly well and it only twinges at certain angles. No pain if i put pressure on the spot with my fingers.

Can't there be a NOOL Doctors forum?

It's cutting down my agility and i've got a lot to do

Gobby cunt like C Owens is bound know a thing or two.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

But, don't you think medical advice is pushing even the bounds of NOOL a little far.

I'll try and rest it over the weekend and see how it is after that.

If it persists, I'd definitely have a doctor look it over. I've had similar problems that cleared up without diagnosis but have the odd pain creep back up every now and again. Last time I over extended my knee it took a few weeks to clear up. Try using a knee brace or wrapping it to see if it helps any but only a physician can diagnose you properly. Just my 2 cents. Hope the pain goes away quickly.

Cant be serious if you can walk on it and put pressure on it. Should clear up soon. If your really worried though, see someone about it.

if you can walk it can't be too bad. do some leg and knee stretches.

oh aye!

And dont ask Old Monkey about it!!

If your knee has swelled up it's either blood or fluid.

You can get it drained at the Hospital. Or, give it 2 weeks and it might take care of itself.

My most painful knee injury was just fluid. Quick op at the hospital 2 weeks in a splint and playing football again in 3 weeks.

The second was blood. Cruciate snapped. 3 days in hospital for major knee repair & a fuckin year before I could play again. Fuckin NHS!!!

General rule is if you get the feeling of it 'locking', its serious.

nah but serously, if you are worried email me privately, I know about knees. I know about fuck all else mind. Otherwise, fer fucks sake, do sports hard and you get hurt, get over it

amputation just below the neck. but then, only the good die young. -but then, sorry, that's is in poor taste considering current news.

ice it, put your leg up and rest up as much as possible. that play hard, or slip and we get hurt is true.
R & R could be.. 'Becca and Rachel - your call.

if after a few days it doesn't heal up a bit definitely consider having it looked at. best, eh?

As the expert in terms of knee injury.. take the biggest amount if ibuprofen you can get without a prescription.

I did have a knee problem that wasn't going away due to climbing stairs with too heavy stuff.

I took for 3 days some Motrin Ultra Strenght (400 mg of Ibuprofen) and that took care of it in 3 days... and trust me, usually it goes on the first day, that was a serious pain and I was considering going to the clinic.

The medecine says after 5 days, if there is no change, go see the doctor... I didn't have to.

And this medecine was the only one to solve most of my other knee problems after I had surgery to remove metal screws 1 year go.. I can say today most of my knees problem are over, which is a good thing ;)

You've strained your medial ligaments by the sound of it so give it a rest, and dont put ice on, that wont help at all. If the knee locks abnormally or clicks when its straight, go see an orthopod...he/she'll sort you out :chainsaw: ! Have a look at webmd.com...
