is it Equilibrium or Momento where Preston/ Christian Bale rounds all his boys together only to be

cheated into a killing? maybe this would be a good way to thin out the site.

My best friend is a Cure fan. Yet he's a very sane person (now this could be the reason for not dating him  ).

Well, yeah, I sorta did, we went to practically every show in Portland for a couple of years, including the Cure. She was not a goth ( quite blond, in fact), and not fat.

As for current situation: wouldn't bother me that much, as long as we were able to listen to other stuff, I haven't heard anything I've liked by The Cure since Disentegration.

actually most cure fans over here, unless they total goths, are actually quite hot.

It could be worse...you could find yourself dating a fan of the movie Grease :nonono:

BTW, every female I've ever met in my entire life is a huge fan of Grease :p

Which would pretty much guarantee that anybody any of us dates will be a Grease fan.

It wouldn't be so bad. I can overlook a flaw or two.

This is a genuine story. At the NO gig in glasgow 88', I travelled down in my local record shops specially organised bus. On the bus were two extreme-cure girl fans. They refused to listen to anything on the bus except cure and spat the dummy when someone thre their tape out of the window. When we got to the gig, they threw out a tartan travel rug on the floor and sat crossed legged as if starting a protest. They were still there at the end of the gig so must have been like that for the whole thing. On the bus on the way home they once again threw a tantrum beacsue they couldn't sleep through the noise of the video of platoon we were watching, and threatened to scratch someones eyes out.

so in short, NO.

If you can tell that someone is a fan of the Cure just by looking at them, you don't want to be involved with them in any respect whatsoever. If they just happen to listen to the music, that's OK...but you'll never be able to elminate the possibility that they're totally crazy.

Some nice anti-Goth jokes in this coming Friday's "IT Crowd".

Q: Why do you never see a Cockney Goth?! A: Cos Cockney's are too cheerful!

I've never dated a Cure fan but I had a chance to date a Mission fan in my youth. It all rested on if I preferred the Mission or the Sisters of Mercy... In my naivety, I chose Eldritch and co...

...She was gorgeous and I've never been as honest with another woman since!
