That is Kasia Selwand from team Poland.
Although she is very cute... I don't consider curling worthy of being an olympic "sport" as you don't need to be an athlete to practice it... just like gun shooting and many other so-called sport.
After all, it's like bowling, but on ice!
I was just about to make a post about curling and who the hell watches this. There should be a rule that any sport that uses brooms is automatically lame.
Last night I caught a few minutes and there was a woman in the crowd wearing an inflatable stone on her head.
Seems like shuffleboard on ice to me.
my grandmother was a curler her whole life and played on a team in philadelphia until she was well into her 70s. she had a whisky flask in the shape of a curling stone; i wanted it when she died, but one of my cousins claimed it first. :(
I was enthralled with Curling During the 02 Olympics, but i havent seen any yet.
i still want to try to play it, im a demon with a broom
the calendar looks like the push curling needs to get over big Internationally
