at least for me it is -- I'm taking tomorrow off and President's Day is Monday, so that's a 4 day weekend for me.
And now, I'm packing.
Anyone else jetting off for the holiday weekend?

I don't get President's Day off, because the liberal and Godless communists who run my college choose not to celebrate the great legacy of American democracy that as we speak is being undermined by George W. Bush and "Killshot" Cheney ![]()
Wait, I went from a neo-con rant to a far-left rant there at the end ![]()
Anyway, I gotta work all weekend anyway ![]()

All the way to Kentucky (that's like over 2000 miles). After all, KY is the home of the bourbon bread pudding (see my previous post under Nutella yum).
I'm attending a wedding of a good friend (we've been friends for over a decade). And she has a wicked sense of humor so that should be fun. I'm really looking forward to it, even though tomorrow will be the last day of her singlehood freedom!!!

It's a federal holiday -- your local post office and bank will be closed. And so will the federal government. :)
Hmmmm. By my calculations, Mrs. Peel, 2000 miles would put you either mid-Atalantic, or west coast.
My money's on west coast. Bon voyage, Mrs. Peel.

That has got to suck. I've hardly ever worked on the weekends before, and I doubt that I would enjoy it. :\ohwell:

You are one smart cookie, Comrade!
