The Queen is Dead was the first album I ever got of the "Manchester bands" when I was in college, and I played it endlessly. Then I started to get into JD, NO, Buzzcocks...good times
It's *almost* a perfect album (I would've put Cemetary Gates between "I Know it's Over" and "Never Had No-One", that's just too much of a depressing one-two punch).

I'm also a big fan of the lyrics to National Front Disco. I often wonder if the great majority actually understand what the song is about, such is the derision that it is often treated with.
