I have a bunch of freeware audio programs for linux. I'm at work at the moment but will send you an email tonight.
I understand the games thing with the Mac but for video and audio it is far superior.
Ahhhh, I have ardour (protools, only free and not full of shit like the windows version) and audacity and all those.
BUT...the fact is...I have been using Cubase since 1992, I'm too dyed in the wool to change...I lose the plot using any other audio app in windows too. So basically...until steinberg change the half dozen lines of code needed to convert from Free-BSD ( which is OSx) and Linux, I'm boned :D
