Don't get me wrong i love the place, but hell, i only went in last night for some milk, and walked out with a telly (i did pay for it first). It always happens, you have to walk past stuff so you always spend more than you intended but £350 in half an hour is bad. I think they're using subliminal messages you know. Be careful people, you have been warned.
Bloody Tesco

That is precisely why I do not frequent my local Tesco which is Digi Mikes Tesco of choice in Batley. Far too much temptation, plus when the kids are with me they end up getting a whole new wardrobe of clothes (coz its cheap)
Bastards (not the kids, Tesco)
Talking oif shopping temptations ,i was walking around the Bull Ring centre in Birmingham yesterday (i'm not proud of that statement btw) and if i had a few grand on me i could easily ,easily have spent the lot. That's probably another reason i don't like shopping - i don't have the cash to quell the temptation
I love it really, but i really didn't NEED a telly! Oh well, i'll worry about it when card bill comes!

The worrying thing is a lack of cash never stops me!! Hooray for credit cards! Actually i don't enjoy shopping, i just like spending! I'm a rich woman trapped in a paupers body!

Don't worry, I'll pay it.
Anyone else want their credit card bill paying?
I have, this very morning, taken the scissors to my credit cards, in the hope that I will only now spend what I can afford. I can feel the withdrawal already, But before I did it I ordered some rather nice skincare products online. Just to ease the pain

Which is why I always get Tesco's to deliver to me.
Borough Market is the undoing of me though. There's an entire stall just dedicated to Ostrich. Yum. ![]()
It was all i could do to stop myself buying an iPOD, a £175 pair of jeans ,countless cds and dvds etc... .Instead i had a pint and a cig :D

Shocking.

I'm having a bout of MS-trauma-Xp just now.
PS....it justoccurred to me that u can get a tv for 30 bills in there and a dvdrecorder (that sometimes works) for 60.....so WTF can u get for 0.35 kiloquid?
I'm thinking a flat panel in a screen size of "fuck right off man there's nowhere to put it"
Alas, mine wasn't that cheap. I got a Phillips 15" LCD for my kitchen. I've always wanted a telly in the kitchen, i think i'll cook more if i've got the telly on - how sad does that sound!
we (drunkenly-i hasten to add) robbed a london undergorund sign once in London after a Wembley visit. took it back in the van.
that was cool.

think yourself lucky, our local tesco at leyland is the size of a fuckin airport, you walk in for a book of stamps and come out with one of them baggage trolleys with loads of stuff trailing behind you. as for the subliminal thing,i think you may be onto something, ours has got loads of little screens everywhere banging on about how great tescos is. in fact my cousin went in for milk and came out wearing a tescos uniform????.
