very nice. Hi-tech and all that. 1st class is well...1st class.

But those electronic bogs..watch it!

Was in one tonight, half cut, forgot to press the lock button. :\oops:

Managed to show 'little Barney Army' to a few strangers, and a very shocked young lady.

ah well, you live & learn...etc

Don't the transport police exist purely to deal with the likes of you ? :D I can see it now "oh, yas it was Freaightful, ay was just tellin little juccinta here to mind 'er purse up in those northern slums, when this, this creature.........."

But seriously, when one considers the whole endless queuing and snarly dogs and nasty coppers and general pishing around....why the hell would ANYONE (ahem) contemplate FLYING up and down such a modest stretch of England (and thereby MISSING THE GOOD BITS) on a regular basis.

Manchester, Birthplace of the railways of the railways(EDIT: bit of a max headroom moment there, I'll leave it for posterity)...London birthplace of business class.

LOL Monty

I was thinking tho....being 35000 feet up with nowt keeping you there but some little fans blades and a coupla wings that seem to flap a lot. is probably SAFER than the trains over there ;)

(I can laugh, because ours don't go quick enough to hurt anyone)

Transport Police had other things to deal with on that journey.

The 'Inter City Jibbers' got on at Brum connecting from Cardiff.

1st class became riff raff :\ohwell:

I was cool with it though, got to hear some stories of fun & games from Cardiff. But Mr & Mrs 'Up Their Own Arse' didnt look too pleased

Yes, having you day disrupted is often smoothed out somewhat by knowing that it's pissing other, more deserving, souls off a LOT more :D

time wise- how long is the ride edit- to see a Mr. and Mrs uptheir's looking terrified and judgemental is a unique combination.

Only way to travel. Sadly, shite on a Sunday though cos it's only then (and Saturday) when they don't lay on the free food and booze!

Not to mention the fact that whenever i have travelled by train on a sunday in the last 10 years they stick you on a bus cos they are digging up the track somewhere, I know its obviously the easiest day to disrupt stuff, still gets on yer tits though!

The first class lounge at Euston seems to be geared to pissing me off on Saturdays and Sundays , it either opens just after me homebound train has left or in the case of a later train shuts just before I get there .... kuntz.
