Quality's a bit ropey but it's a proper barney.link
I spotted a Brazilian match in the first video. Do you know why the fight started? Watch it here :D
This vid is just plain nasty. Turn the soundcard down though, cos the muzak accompanying it is SHITE.
Not for the faint-hearted!
(Rangers are at the bottom).

that pretty much happens on a regular basis in dundee, if an englishman goes into the city at night unaccompanied by a scotsman.
sort of reminds me of a night out me and my mate had in in Canberra over 10 years ago. there were like 20 Indians who just looked for a fight, and only the two of us. we gave as good, as we got, and walked away from it in the end. i only suffered a fractured wrist.

I'm sorry but where does this stuff come from?! I've got two English friends living in Dundee and they've never heard of such rubbish! Talk about perpetuating a myth.

Top ruck Ian.
Which firms are involved?
DFG v KGB?
I had an idea it might be Dutch. Thought it was a superb defensive strategy by the firm on the right, they took up an excellent position, which meant they couldn't be outflnaked and despite the opposition's heavy numerical advantage, they were unable to make their extra numbers count.

Saint Peter was manning the Pearly Gates when forty Celtic fans showed up. Never having seen any Celtic supporters at Heaven's door, Saint Peter said he would have to check with God. After hearing the news, God instructed him to admit the ten most virtuous from the group. A few minutes later, Saint Peter returned to God breathless and said, "They're gone." "What? All of the Celtic fans are gone?" asked God. "No" replied Saint Peter "The Pearly Gates!"

i have an english friend living in dundee, as well, and he's doing fine. as for the answer to your question (or firm statement, as it may be):
a) i was partly being facetious (not too difficult to recognize) and,
b) this 'stuff' comes from having lived outside dundee and having english friends who ran into trouble in the city streets while pub crawling at the weekend--because they were english. or, rather, from the south.
not a bad city, dundee. nice reperatory theatre, decent shopping, nice bowling facilities--but it is a bit rough around the edges since the three 'j's went under.

Bollocks Christy
Dundee's a shithole!
Actually, it's not that bad. I did 3 years at Dundee college so I've spent my fair share of time wandering around the Wellgate. I can't say I noticed a hostility towards English people any more than your average Scottish ned's reaction to something he or she perceives as being "different".
The best part of town is the university district overlooking the Tay. Loads of nice new bars, restaurants etc. I've got a sort of "Ahh, it's Dundee" fondness for the place but it does have an image problem as a city; I've heard the term "Scumdee" more than once. They need to level a few of the larger council tenements ASAP to improve how it looks on the skyline.
To be fair, since the Overgate (big shopping centre) was built they've slowly been regenerating the city from the inside out.
Well, I survived Dundee a couple of years back, but then I was there with 4 Scots... Didn't find the city that bad! :)
Dont think this clip has actually anything to do with Dundee (nice place that it is). It involves hibs fans (from edinburgh) who's team were playing in dundee and Rangers fans (from Glasgow) who's team were playing in aberdeen and who stopped off on the way back for a punch up with the hibs fans - its just that dundee was a convenient place.. but anyway football violence is so last century!!
errr, isnt Dundee just like any other city on this planet?
Act like a cock, you get a slap.
Be cool and have a laugh, meet new friends.

Edit: Except New York, fuck me you can take liberties in that city......I speak from experience ![]()

As Mike says, the original was a dig at the Scousers.
How many Huns does it take to change a lightbulb?
None. For they live in Eternal Darkness.

Sir Matt Busby in chilling out in heaven on his cloud when St Peter comes up to him trying to persuade Sir Matt to manage a 'Heaven 11' vs 'Hell 11'
After much persuading Sir Matt reluctantly agrees and watches the Heaven squad train.
After the session St Peter somes up to Sir Matt to ask 'Well Sir Matt, do we have a chance'
Sir Matt replies 'Well, you've a pretty decent squad there, but that idiot in the no7 shirt, he needs to go..'
St Peter replies 'Oh dont worry about him Sir Matt, thats just God, he thinks he fuckin Eric Cantona'.
Boom Boom !

i agree. the area around dundee uni is lovely. and the hospital up by the uni has a mini-shopping centre in it! one of the nicest hospitals i've been in.
but i digress. i stay away from old firm or hibs/hearts footy--too much of what we saw on the video. i prefer to fly under the radar with second division (for now, and probably for a while) raith rovers.
