A fucking amazing performance!!!!

I've been a big fan for ages, it finally looks like he will get the recognition he's been long overdue :nod:

Twas good to see Nigel Benn in the paper yesterday saying Calzaghe would have easily been a match for all the fighters in his own era. Benn was a hero of mine in them days.

Lacy was taken to the cleaners, oufought and outboxed from the get-go. There were a few shell-shocked Americans at ringside (mainly their press)

The fight should have been stopped in the 10th, but fair play to Lacy cos he didnae want to go down.

i never thought he'd get a defining fight.

always liked Joe. awesome display. battered Lacy. can't wait to see who he gets next - - hopefully in America.

not bad for a slapper.

Shug,its on ITV4 tommorrow straight after the Boro v Roma match if you want to tape it mate. Nice to see Joe getting his recognition now...I 've been to see him fight and followed all his career,the harder the opponent the better he performs.Truley shit-hot fighter!Time to move up in weight and become a two weight champ after clearing out the Super-middle division,beat the top boys,Tarver,Johnson,Jones and Woods.. and then retire, as an all time great undefeated champion..Easier said than done,but Calzaghe has all the tools,but needs the fights to happen before he's 35 and on the slide..Boxing politics get in the way of great fights happening.However we are seeing a shift with TV companies demanding them again,and need to,to fire the publics interest in boxing once more...
