Its a piece of Labradorite Blue Austral from southwestern Madagascar. It shows changing colours (iridescence or labradorescence) when moved in the light - like a blue starling's wings for instance. The petrological term is anorthosite and its like a lot of rocks the Apollo guys brought back from the moon. Fairly common on earth but not the iridescent variety... Well you did ask!
