we do things differntly here. our seasons start on the first of each relevant month.

sorry for not getting back to you earlier, as i didn't see this. i'm at home. i've been very domesticated today. i did my big shopping this morning, then i cleaned the bathroom, loo, and all the other tiled areas. i then did the vacuuming. only the living room to go, then i'm done. where does all that dirt always come from.

San Jose is different now-- in some ways-- than it was when I left. It has more cachet, being the "Capital of Silicon Valley" and all. But that whole "Capital of Silicon Valley" thingie is just marketing hype. San Jose has always been a second-rate suburb rather than a city proper...

Didn't it surpass Detroit in terms of population? Had no idea how big it really was........until I saw the population signs and then drove through it.

It snowed up in Oban last night, i've been up here for 3 years and this is the first snow i've seen up here. its raining now, so don't think it'll last too long
