A man up for 40 minutes and the reds couldn't score again.

Shay Given pulled off a couple of top-notch saves, newcastle pulled men behind the ball and the mighty reds took their foot off the gas... that's eight goals in two matches (five by our recognised centre forwards), and I for one am happy that we're scoring at all.

No more cows arse/banjo non-connection jokes, please. Until we dry up again...

Two swallows dont make a summer either! But I think you're right, there's a glimmer of hope there. Maybe Heskey will get a red early and then it really could be 0-3 like most seem to be predicting. You can get used to playing against ten men.. :toothless:
