AARRRGG!!!! Just found out my 3 month old, rarely used 3210 allin one printer is broken and needs replacement. Somrthing about thesensor that reads the paper is in the paper tray, as it won't notice any paperin thetray, so it won't print. HP says they'll send out another, but I KEEP the same warranty, so new printer old warranty. Is that a load of crap or what????? Alos told me that this is a common problem. Don't fell so confident in this. . . especiallysince I spent $300 on this thing. I thought HP was better than this. OK, ok, sorry, just needed a place to rant.

Why did you think HP was better than that?! I have a 990C which will only print in black all of a sudden - same story, they will replace it (for about $80)and I keep the old warranty - but its not an old for new exchange. Rather a "refurbished" model. All the 45 and 78 cartridges I'd hoarded from my previous printer have a slightly different electrode configuration on the back so wont work at all with the 990! HP dont have a good rep here at all.....

Printers are robots yes? Printers do not have Asimov's three laws built in, right?

That's why I wont have one near me....that and that they hate me, them and scanners (also lawless robots)

Had me HP 812C since 1999. Always works. Always runs out of ink when I am broke.

HP bites, and I'm glad that I haven't used one.

Than this one is up your alley. . .it's a printer with a scanner!!!!

Add a new complaint to the mix. . .the replacement HP is going to give is a REFURBISHED printer. Just found that out today. Will talk to higher until I talk to the pres of the co, to unf*** the situation.
