Alcohol= bukfast and £1.99 cider (found of some rat cider myself I must confess) Music=happy hardcore, that horrific soul-less soul music and bitch-ass-ganstaaaarap.
Dan, it's not the gayness that's the issue, it's the whoness of the gayness...chavs hunt poofs along with any other form of non chav life. Gay chav = black klansman in terms of oxymorons (tho it comes nowhere near military intelligence or microsoft works).
The chav moves in packs and is dangerous in numbers, however they are generally very timid when they are alone.
there's a good link off chavscum that goes into the various sub-species of chav (or rather "ned" as it's a Scots site) and their place in the troop.
For now I intend finding the video of a chav hurting himself and posting a more direct link.

What you would care welfare sucking white trailer trash...tho they come in many colours.

Some media twats like to say chavs are just the working classes viewed by stuck up middle class tards. This theory falls down on 2 major points. 1. Chavs live solely on benefits and do not work to raise their 73 children by 36 chicks. If you do an honest days work for an honest day's pay...you cannot be a chav ( tho u may have their style certainly). and 2. chavs are violent retards, it's part of the definition, that certainly does not describe the entire working class population to my mind.
The word 'chav' is one of those expressions like 'political correctness' that once meant something specific, but now just seems to mean anything the speaker doesn't like. I mean, there are some anti-social feckless folk not a million miles from the council block I live in, but they don't appear to own a single item of Burberry (spelling?) between them. Surely if one means selfish anti-social people (who come from all social classes)then just say so, if one means working class people then say that, or if one means a fashion based sub-culture that wears burberry then say that - the word 'Chav' doesn't really add anything except confusion - and the chance for the likes of Julie Burchill to start her tired working-class posturing.
After reading through a few of these links, I see what a chav or a ned is, and they pretty much seem to just be following the American hip-hop "lifestyle." The descriptions accurately fit most of the kids I went to school with, although I haven't seen most out of school. Still, I remember girls - and their guys - bringing their babies into school, or at least the pictures of them. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be proud being a 16 year old parent.
I doubt most of the kids you know would knife you for being a NO fan tho would they? Chavs would, or for any other reason they see fit.

Possibly, but I don't know. When I was 16, a group of my friends were hanging on a corner a block from our high school. I was serving a detention at the time. But my friends were jumped - or cornered - by a group of 40 or so kids from our school, ones who would probably fit the chav description. My friend Bill, who came into school the next day to tell me, had several stitches from the fight, but another friend, Martha, had her lungs kicked in, another friend had a severe concussion. There were other injuries, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Now, I wasn't there, but according to my friend Bill, they didn't start the fight, the other kids - the ones I could probably describe as chavs - started it for no reason. If you could've brought a knife through the doors of the school - both entrances had scanners and metal detectors - I'm sure a knife would've been involved.
