I think there is a definite correlation with stress and coffee, at least for me.

In the beginning of the week to the mid-week, my coffee intake is about 3-5 cups a day, but it can go up to 7 if I'm hitting deadlines. But then as soon as Thursday and Friday roll around, I'm coasting at 1-2 cups a day, and the strength of the coffee is a lot lighter. On the weekends, I don't need coffee to perk me up, because there is little to no stress whatsoever.

Don't get me wrong, I love coffee. I just think that it has become a sign that the stress levels are up, at least in my world.

I like my coffee strong, with a swirl of hazlenut or vanilla cream to keep it interesting. :thumb:

Java (black) supposedly has some health benefits- in moderation, mind you. I drink 2 to 3 cups in the morning, on weekends I usually drink less or none at all and drinking caffeinated sodas helps my caffeine withdrawal for the times that I don't drink coffee.

Not real big on expresso or other specialty coffees but I like the flavorful and strong coffees like the Ethiopean beans. Drink mine black with sugar and a dash of half and half.

I rarely drink coffee in the morning or any other part of the day. I have a cup once every month and a half.
